Health & Safety is priority number one for SCS Installations and as a business we continually monitor and seek to improve our health and safety.
Without prejudice all staff are actively encouraged to challenge the business to improve H&S and report any breaches or areas noted for improvement.
A comprehensive Health and Safety policy document is published to all staff, with SCS being audited to HSG65 every six months by an independent H&S Service Provider.
Health and Safety - Risk Assessment and Method Statements
All tasks undertaken by SCS will be accompanied by a pre-approved method statement, which is to be briefed to all the engineers associated with delivering the project.
Additionally, two forms of risk assessment will be common place in to which all employees have a valued input.
Pre Project Risk Assessment
Accompanying the method statement, this document will have been submitted for approval prior to commencement of the project and will have been produced based on the known risks of installation and those highlighted either by the Customer or during a site survey.
Workplace Risk Assessment
This will be conducted at the start of or during the on-site works, where additional risks not covered in the pre-approved documentation, will require mitigation.
